
DOWNTOWN OXFORD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (DOEDC)
The DOEDC is a 501c(3) not-for-profit organization governed by an Executive Committee, 10-member Board, and 3 ex-officio members whose purpose is to focus on Downtown revitalization and ehancement while preserving the historical character of the business district and immediate surrounding areas. The DOEDC are an affiliate of the City of Oxford, both working together to promote economic vitality in Downtown Oxford.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Oxford, NC, Main Street Program, in conjunction with its partners and stakeholders, instills action through promoting, planning, and implementing Downtown revitalization initiatives.
VISION STATEMENT
Downtown Oxford, ideally positioned near the Triangle, is the traditional gathering place for Granville County that marries the historic charm of a diverse, walkable community with essential neighborhood goods and services, an entertainment hub, and a creative entrepreneurial spirit.
